P2P team refine statistical model and database

The Pathways to the Premiership team took met several times on the sidelines of the 2018 IPSA conference in Brisbane in July to plan the next stages of the research project. We not only refined the Gendered Representative Context Index but also discussed the codebook for the Gendered Pathways to Political Leadership Model. This statistical model includes a number of individual, institutional, and economic factors that will be used to explore the factors shaping the advancement of women’s political careers at the subnational level in Australia and Canada.
